A&S Naqvi Family Memorial Fund!

This last month I lost the most important person in my life, my father: Aqil Mustafa Naqvi. He passed on February 6th, 2018 after a long and painful fight against diabetes and renal failure, which included numerous amputations, bilateral blindness, and ultimately a stroke that left half his body paralyzed. My cousin, his nephew - pictured on the left - lost his father, Salman Naqvi, 10 years ago to terminal pancreatic cancer after an equally painful fight, that left him hollowed out.
My dad and his brother were two of the most loving, caring, down to earth, and innocent people I have ever known. They always greeted anyone/ everyone with open arms and never once complained about their illnesses, pains, or problems. At their worst they were still caring for those around them with little regard towards their own pain and constantly spreading love and kindness. To continue my father and uncle's loving, good natured spirit I'd like to ask everyone who has ever lost someone special in their life, to please donate in their name! All funds will go towards diabetes, cancer, and kidney research and treatment facilities throughout the world! Diabetes is still a leading cause of death globally and has no found cure. Many cancers, such as pancreatic cancer, are terminal and current treatments are often painful!
Importantly, lets try to give these people hope and quality of life. After seeing my dad and uncle, among many other family and friends, struggle so largely throughout their illness, I know how helpful a small kind gesture can be.
This fundraiser was inspired by my dad, but is actually for everyone in my family and in the world, who I’ve seen cancer and other diseases tear apart inside and out; survivors and those who couldn’t make it alike. In memory of those we have lost, lets save those we love! Please give in the name of a loved one today and let their loss save another!

- Which provides thousands of impoverished patients with free transplants, dialysis, and cancer treatments year round.
American Diabetes Association ( ADA ) -
Whos mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
American Kidney Fund ( AKF ) - The leading U.S. non-profit working on behalf of the 30 million Americans with kidney disease, providing support and resources.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network ( PCAN ) - The national organization providing support, resources, volunteer opportunities and hope for people fighting pancreatic cancer.
Cancer Research Institute (CRI ) - A nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to advancing immunotherapy to treat, control, and cure all cancers.
