Hey fam! Lauren and Leah, here--these things are always awkward, so here we go...
Leah and I have decided to expand our family to include more than just paws and fur. Here's the deal...as a gay couple in Michigan, insurance and state policies don't make it easy...or cheap.
Sometimes it takes a village, right? We would be so grateful for any help and support you could give. Whether that is donating, sharing our story, or simply letting us know that you are here for us, you'd be helping us a ton!
Our current fundraiser is a Puzzle Piece Purchase. Here are the details:
We have two identical puzzles: one for you and one for us. The puzzle pieces make up our family photo
You can purchase as many pieces as you would like (each piece is 15 dollars)
When you purchase a piece, we will send it to you (or drop it off, if you are close by). OUR names will be on the back of YOUR puzzle piece :) The matching piece on OUR puzzle will have YOUR name on the back. You will always have a piece of our family with you (gushy, I know...)
When our puzzle is completed, we will hit the majority of our goal!
THE BEST PART:
This puzzle is going into a two sided frame, so our future family can always see both the picture AND the back of the puzzle (and all of the people that made our little family happen)
Of course, we will send updates of our journey and you will know exactly where your donation went, as we go through this next step in life.
