Stem Cell Treatment for AJ

 
  AJ'S STEM CELL  TREATMENT
AJ is a wonderfully happy 21 year old young man who has Cerebral Palsy.  AJ works hard at his therapies so that someday he may be able to talk, write and walk.  He has come a long way but if you don't know him well it is hard to tell what he needs or wants.  He helps as much as possible, but he still needs full support all of the time.

We are planning on taking AJ to Cancun, MX for Stem Cell Treatment.  The World Stem Cells, LLC Clinic/Hospital does research and clinical studies for regenerative tissue and medicine.  The clinic has the international equivalent to the US FDA accreditation.
 
This treatment uses his own stem cells to reduce the possibility of rejection.  This is not a process that uses fetal stem cells.  They extract bone marrow from the hip and separate the stem cells and insure the cells regenerate.  The doctors will then inject most of the stem cells into his spine.  This is so the cells can go directly to the brain. The rest of the cells will be given through intraveinous injections.  He will be given the IV injections for a week.

Whereas this may not be a cure for his Cerebral Palsy, it could dramatically improve his quality of life.  His one previous treatment in Germany eliminated his spasms and seizures.  It is our hope that we see the same dramatic changes from the multiple treatments he will have in Cancun, Mexico.
