Our Adoption Journey

We wish we could say that we had a romantic story to share on how we met but it was actually on Myspace back in 2009. We vowed our commitment to one another in 2014 by getting married at Old First Reformed United Church of Christ in Philadelphia and another chapter in our relationship initiated. We quickly began to dream together about our goals, aspirations and on the top of our list was of course, children. We researched many ideas on how a same sex couple can fulfill their dreams of becoming parents and attempted a few extraordinary approaches to the idea but no results. After highs and lows, a blessing has come upon us to adopt, VERY FAST.

On Thursday March 2nd, we received an unexpected call that made our hearts sink to the pit of our stomachs. Someone from the past was on the other end of the line telling us words we felt we would never hear. Words that would change our lives drastically and permanently. Powerful words that could forever make our dreams of becoming daddies... a reality!

With this wonderful adoption opportunity, there lies a very short time constraint, which is now! Our BEAUTIFUL, soon to be SON will be born this May and we have many legal proceedings to complete. The cost of this adoption process is $7,000 and we are asking for your heartfelt contributions to help us make our dreams come true.
