"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" Matthew 25:40

As we ponder the year of 2021 and how everyday forward will be different, through Christ and Anna Grace's perpetual love, we can live by grace, Amazing Grace!

AG’s Mission of Grace inspired by her unconditional love for all. In order to honor our precious Anna Grace we feel called to help someone in need this New Year...

Our dear friend, Shirley and her son, Lanny Anderson, have had many trials and misfortunes that have caused devastations over the past 15 years. Lanny developed an unknown autoimmune disease which still baffles doctors.
Shirley has worked tirelessly to support them both since the diagnosis, but she recently lost her job and she is trying to maximize her S.S benefits by waiting till June.  She is actively seeking employment,  but the options are limited because she could put her and Lanny at health risk.

She has been faithful in prayer and did not reach out for help. We have personally witnessed her tireless sacrifices over the years and therefore feel this is a special opportunity to give back and bless by Grace!

In Shirley's words...
"I've watched my son suffer affliction and relentless pain for years now. For so long we didn't know what was going on with him.

It started with a cyst on the left side of the back of his neck. I sent him to my doctor. After performing a biopsy to rule out cancer, she decided it must be an infectious sebaceous cyst and prescribed antibiotics. Within a week another cyst appeared on the right side. Within weeks a canal had formed between the two. And so began this chronic plight of ER and doctor's office visits for lancing and antibiotics. We shuffled from doctor to doctor and referrals to specialists. This went on for 15 years; constant cuttings, draining, packing the wounds (including surgery to remove glands). And increasingly potent cocktails of antibiotics that did absolutely nothing to remedy his condition and wiped out his already taxed immune system. After doing his own research he realized his condition must be autoimmune. The doctors finally concurred.

After so much stress, trauma and isolation, the initial malady has begotten other maladies. These "breakouts" have now scarred his entire body with multiple sites open or in the excruciating process of opening at any given time on his neck, torso, limbs, groin [ALL OVER]. He is in constant, immense pain.

The weight and mental anguish of watching my son suffer has definitely taken a toll on me. Before, I found some solace in my ability to cover necessities. I was blindsided by my employer months ago... Now I find myself unemployed, with no assets and bills piling up. It is truly overwhelming. As Covid-19 has raged on, I have received no relief as my employer did not pay in to Unemployment.

I was waiting until I turn 70 to start receiving my S.S. Benefits because I would get more monthly income to help us survive. I only have 6 mos. until then.

Everything has fallen on me for the last 16 years. My son's immune system has been greatly compromised. He's had pneumonia 7 times and with Covid-19 I can't risk him going out or me bringing it home to him. At my age I'm considered high risk but I have to run the necessary errands. It's all on me."

Our goal is to cover their rent, utilities, medical bills, and basic needs.

Shirley and Lanny are such strong, trusting, and prayerful friends who need a helping hand.

We all know there are so many people in need during this season, but we would appreciate your prayers and consideration of giving in this New Year.
Amazed by Grace in action and love,  Gina and Lisa
