This past summer Austin had the chance to be evaluated by Under Armour's Baseball Factory National Team. Through his hard work and determination he was selected to attend three different tournaments. Due to the expense of travel etc.. Austin will be able to attend one event this year. He will be raising money to attend the Under Armour Baseball Factory National Team Pirate City Christmas Camp. This tournament will be mostly upper classmen but Austin was invited to be one of the few underclassmen to attend.
Under Armour/Baseball Factory recruits the best High School ball players in the nation to help them get exposed to college scouts in an attempt to get them athletic & academic scholarships. Over 300 professional baseball players have gone through this program. This year out of the thousands of players that tried out nationally we are proud to say AC was one of the lucky few to be picked to attend these events.
The Under Armour Baseball Factory camp/tournament will be held at the Pirate City facility which is the spring training facilities of the Pittsburgh Pirates in Florida. This camp gives players the chance to train with some of the best pro baseball instructors and to compete against the top high school baseball players in the nation.
We are hoping that all those that know Austin (AC) and know his potential and dedication to the game will contribute. This is an incredible opportunity for him so he can be evaluated by the top colleges with hopes of getting a scholarship and taking him one step closer to realize his dream.
This was an unexpected opportunity, so unfortunately, we are not prepared and need your help. This is not easy for us to do, but we are asking family and friends to help Austin take advantage of this opportunity. We know everyone has responsibilities and things aren’t easy nowadays but we have to raise $4000 for him to attend this camp. Any amount that you can donate will be greatly appreciated
