A 30-Days House

My name is Mick Sterling.  I am the Founder and Director of The 30-Days Foundation.  

A 30-Days House, is a new addition to our KEEP THE KEY program of the Minnesota-based 501 c3 THE 30-DAYS FOUNDATION, www.The30-DaysFoundation.org,  It is an innovative approach to help Twin Cities families in the sometimes difficult period of transition from group homes or shelters in to a new beginning.   For a glimpse of how KEEP THE KEY works, please view our 90-second video, https://m.youtube.com/watch?t=5s&v=8pe2CXY0wm4


A 30-Days House provides one family up to three weeks of fully furnished and free housing and utilities to ease financial burdens to provide a good head start as the family moves in to their permanent housing.   

In conjunction with PRISM of Golden Valley, A 30-Days House will only accept families that have provided documented proof that the Security Deposit and First Month Rent has been paid to their new landlord.  

A 30-Days House is a rental home in a quiet neighborhood in NE Mpls.  The 30-Days Foundation serv s as the renter and we pay all utilities.  The families are the guests of The 30-Days Foundation.

The 30-Days Foundation is proud to be in partnership with PRISM of Golden Valley and LOAVES AND FISHES in Minneapolis.  

PRISM will find the families and be their main contact prior to and while they are staying in A 30-Days House.   They will check in weekly with the families to make sure they havewhat they need.   LOAVES AND FISHES will provide each family with fresh fruit and vegetables and staple food items for their stay and for them to bring with them when they move to their permanent housing.  

We are hopeful through our GO FUND ME campaign that we can gain assistance with these items.  Your donations will assist The 30-Days Foundation to assure each family staying at A 30-Days House will have a few weeks of comfort from bills and provide a much needed respit and ease of burden.

House Maintenace/($100 a month)

Sponsor a week of Supplies- $50
