Ken Churchill Legacy Memorial Fund

Donation protected

My name is Bryan Clay and this legacy memorial fundraiser is for my best friend, Kenneth Churchill.

Ken was by far one of the most selfless human beings I have ever had met and we spent the better of 25 years working together, building awareness of the ongoing homeless population in the U.S.

Other than being a great humanitarian, KEN was also a talented writer of poetry and the author of a free book titled “American Homeless Land Model”.

Ken had been a homeless advocate for over a decade when we were introduced at a band rehearsal in the mid 90's to listen to a song I had written called “Streetman” about a homeless man I spent some time with in NYC.

Ken loved the song and asked me if I’d be interested in utilizing it’s message with performances to further help his cause and work with like minded artists to put on concerts. I made these concerts great is that there were no money involved in anyone wanting to see the shows only had to bring some canned goods or a clean blanket or a clean jacket.

Ken and I would spend the next decade working and performing together for charity to help local homeless families around Nassau & Suffolk counties on eastern Long Island, assisting over 3000 families within that timeframe, and have remained close friends ever since.

Ken’s website caught the attention of an Ohio politician around September of 2021, who wanted to  use Ken’s legislation to implement Ken’s land model idea. Sadly, Ken succumbed to pneumonia and passed away suddenly on October 14th.

All of Ken’s humanitarian efforts to help the lives of so many was done on his own dime while living off of Social Security. He sadly had no money saved for a funeral expenses and his sister asked me for help.

This fundraiser also doubles as a legacy fund to to offset production and maintenance costs, to keep Ken Churchill‘s website up and running for many many years to come. This site features all of Ken's legislative videos, interviews, legislation documents, poetry and features his free book.

To see what your donation will assist with, please visit www.homelesslandmodel.com, created and financially supported by me, as I continue to help get his message heard, the best way we knew how.

Thanks so much for the love and support and please share with anyone that can help!

Sincerely,
Bryan Clay
