A Service Dog for a Honorable Service Member

Donation protected

I am raising money for a Service Dog to help me lead a healthy and safe life. I am an Operation Enduring Freedom Veteran who has served my country with pride, honor, and sacrifice. I have been diagnosed with Severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and have been advised to obtain a Service Dog to assist me with my struggles of going around corners, being able to be in huge crowds, and the list continues. I just want to be able to someday lead a normal life without the everyday assistance of my wife or the Service Dog.

The money collected will go towards the cost of the training and the obtaining of a Service Dog to assist me. It is very expensive to obtain a Service Dog because of the grooming, training, and supplies that it takes to turn a great dog into a Service Dog. The company, Little Angles Service Dogs, does it all: the whelping cost (breeding, Including medical costs and health screenings adult breeding dogs, OFA fees, AKC registrations, pedigrees, and staff for whelping the litter), medical cost (medical exams, vaccines, parasite control and grooming over a 1-year period), nutrition (food and supplements from 8 weeks of age to 1-year of age), boarding and training, identification and vest (service dog ID tag with certification and handler information, and vest to label the dog clearly in public settings for public access), leashes and collars, licensing and county registration, and handler training. Little Angels Service Dogs is very intense and very successful for breeding and training highly effective and efficient Service Dogs. All the proceeds will go to this company for the Service Dog.

Supporters can help by donating whatever you can to this cause. There is no amount to small anything would help. If you could not donate monetary means, prayers and well wishes also would be appreciated. Any form of help would be truly grateful.

Information on Little Angels Service Dogs:                                                                       Little Angels Service Dogs are raised and bred specifically to assist an individual with a disability. Each dog is taken from our breeding program and placed with a puppy raiser by 8 weeks of age. The dog stays with their puppy raiser and attends monthly training classes, and daily socialization field trips into public locations until the dog is old enough for specialized training. At this time the dog is returned to our training facility and begins specialized training for work on specific assistance tasks.

Psychiatric Service dogs to assist with recipients suffering from PTSD are trained to alert to and interrupt their handler's destructive behaviors (including but not limited to anxiety/ or panic attacks, and/or flashbacks, and/or aggressive tendencies) The dogs are trained in deep pressure therapy to help alleviate anxiety in their handler. Dogs are trained to provide boundary and distance between their handler and others in crowed public situations. All dogs are trained in advanced obedience for reliable public access skills. Lifetime training support is included.
