37-year-old Sonja Nixon Frazier is a high risk individual for COVID-19 with a lung disease. However, that didn't stop her from giving CPR for 15 minutes and saving a man's life when he came through the Taco Bell drive-thru.
In her words: "I feel blessed. I feel I did what everyone would’ve done. I didn’t care about his race, politics, none of that. … It never crossed my mind. It was his life and he needed help. I feel like anybody that knows how to do so should jump at the opportunity to help. We are all human, and we all have to love each other and help.”
Ms. Frazier risked her life to save the life of a stranger. Let's recognize her humanity and heroism with a "thank you" gift to help her and her family.
She was recently featured as one of the heroes for CNN's "Heroes Salutes" stories. She is a single mom raising two children. Although she suffers from sarcoidosis, a rare lung disease that puts her at great risk if she contracts COVID-19, she still goes off to work every day to support her family.
