My name is Casey Ferree. I am an RN, currently finishing up my senior year of college at Southern Adventist University. On March 1st, 2018, I will be going on a medical missions trip with Amazon Lifesavers to Manaus, Brazil.
We will be traveling down the Amazon River for 10 days, giving free medical care to the indigenous people in villages right on the Amazon River. We will be working with local doctors, assessing patients, providing wound care, assisting in surgeries, and much more.
We will spend time ministering to their spiritual needs as well, hosting worship services when possible.
I need to raise at least $2500 to cover the cost of the trip, including travel fees, vaccinations, and medical supplies. If you would like to be a part of this missionary outreach to the Brazilian people, please support me with a monetary donation of any amount, tax free.
All money donated up to the amount needed will go solely to pay my personal mission expenses. Anything above the needed amount will be donated to my fellow nursing students attending the same trip.
Regardless of whether you donate or not, I am asking that each of you support me with your prayers. It is not going to be an easy trip and I covet and appreciate your prayful support.
Here is a video of a similar recent missions trip by some of my fellow nursing students.
