Fix car

I'm a single dad of a 12 and 13 year. I have a heart conditio. I found out my car needs a new transmission. It's my only way to get to doctor appointments and for my kids to get to appointments. I don't ask for help but I need my vehicle fix. I can use any help that is giving. Thank you.
