Mission Trip to Guatemala
UPDATE: *PRAISE REPORT* I was just officially granted leave from work in November, to spend 2 weeks in Guatemala on mission for Christ. For those of you who know, my heart's desire has been to return to the country where my understanding of the Gospel was first and finally stripped of all my own cultural preferences. I commited to the Lord that I would go back some day to let Him use my gifts and skills to help those in need to a greater degree, and here I go!
I will post updates between now and November regarding my practical needs (I may be collecting some medical supplies...we'll see) and prayer needs. Thank you so much for covering this in prayer and supporting me as I get the opportunity to be Christ's ambassador for a couple weeks to children and families in great need of His Life and provision.
Stay tuned as the details begin to unfold! In the mean time, please pray that God would prepare the areas I am visiting, that I will be able to forge strategic relationships with front-line missionaries that will open doors for streams of providers to pour into this country to give aid, with the end goal of making disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is really the heart and soul of this trip for me.
