Jennifer's Medical and Recovery Expenses
Donation protected
On the night of our little sister's birthday, June 2, 2014, her house caught on fire. She rescued her daughter and one of her sons, but was unable to save her 9-year old son Callister. In the process, she suffered severe burns to her face, hands, arms, legs and feet, as well as smoke inhalation that left her connected to a respirator. She and her daughter were airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Her daughter was released the next day, but Jennifer is still in the Trauma/Burn ICU.
She is making good progress in her recovery. Still, her hospitalization will be measured in weeks. We anticipate high medical expenses. Also, the family lost everything in the fire.
We are asking you to donate what you can to help in her medical and recovery expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will be appreciated.
We will post regular updates on her recovery here.
