Help to replace MacBook Pro

Donation protected
So, as you may know, I use my laptop to do my job in Ethiopia. Editing all the Images I take and doing design work is it's main purpose. This week when I arrived back home in Ethiopia from my stay in Kenya, it was saying that there is "no wifi hardware installed" and the computer was lagging and going extremely slow. I restarted the computer thinking it was a normal glitch in the system and the computer would not restart at all. I let it set over night in Rice assuming water may have gotten in it when the dog we were watching in Kenya knocked water over next to it. I looked and never saw water on my laptop so I didn't worry about that. However, when the laptop wouldn't restart I was taking the hard shell case off and noticed that it was damp inside. I did manage, after praying, to get the laptop turned back on and saved two small folders onto my external drive of important images but then it lost all connection and nothing worked. On Saturday morning I took it into Ethiopia's "Authorized Apple Reseller" store and the guy put a new hard drive inside and my computer would not recognize it. That said, the Logic Board is completely dead. That and my Wifi hardware.

Thankfully, CURE is sending me a Temporary computer to use until I can replace mine. Beings that my time machine backup is for a Mac, I need to replace my old computer with a Mac if I want all my Files and programs. With that said, a new MacBook Pro 15" (same model) is $1999 and I simply can't imagine being able to afford that on my own. My insurance said that my computer, being 3+ years old depreciated 80% making it valued at $340. But, I have a $250 deductible meaning I would only get $90 for my $1799 laptop. I NEED YOUR HELP.

I'm not sure how I could repay either of you for helping me, but it would mean the world to me if you could help!

I'm asking that you pray about this and if you find it in your heart to help...to give any amount you can towards this. It would mean the world to me to get back on my feet and work on my own computer. Work this week has been rather difficult because I can't do my job the best that I can.

I appreciate all of you for taking time out of your day to read this and possibly taking money from your banks to help me. Your support is always what keeps me going!!
