Can you imagine being 6 years old and already experiencing multiple surgeries, almost 100 infusions, and countless other health-related traumas? Three years ago, after 6 year old Bono was diagnosed with a debilitating disease, Systemic Onset Polyarticular Idiopathic Arthritis, his single mother lost her job of 8 years due to the extensive care required to treat his disease. After exhausting her 401k and unemployment options, his mother was finally on a path to get them back on their feet financially 3 years later, only to find out their home has been put up for public auction on January 9th. Thanks to the amazing love and support of the community, we were able to raise enough money to stop the auction, but we still need to reach the goal of $12,500 to pay the rest over time.
