I started this GoFundMe page in the hopes of helping my son with his father's funeral expenses.
Five years ago my ex-husband came back to San Diego for a visit that turned into an extended stay. He lived with our son while his health deteriorated. In the past two years he has been in and out of the hospital.
When he was home, my son took very good care of his father from dressing, feeding and bathing. He always made sure his dad was comfortable. Until he was placed in hospice care on Easter Sunday.
The next morning his pain and suffering ended. He lived on a limited income and made no plans for his passing.
Now that he is gone the burden has fallen to our son. My son had no idea what funeral services and burial would cost. He has five children and lives paycheck to paycheck. There is no way that he can afford these expenses, so I am reaching out to anyone who can help.
