Medical Costs for my mom

This is something I never thought I’d have to do, but here we are. On June 16th 2020 my mom, Debbi Joiner, was admitted to KU Med center in Kansas City KS with extreme abdominal pain.  Later that evening the CT scan results showed masses on her pancreas, liver, both lungs and multiple lymph nodes. Obviously this has come as a great shock to our family. Today, June 24th 2020 we have received word from the doctor following a biopsy that she has Adina Carcinoma, stage 4. The team working on her behalf is committed to fighting this cancer head on, in a very aggressive manor using multiple types of treatment including clinical trials. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated as it will aid our family, specifically my mom and dad with the extreme costs of treatment as well as travel and time off work. Please please please keep my mom in your prayers daily. We believe in the power of prayer and we believe that she is not just a number or a statistic and that she can and WILL overcome this obstacle god has placed before her. We will continue to live our lives day to day just as god has planned and are committed to giving her the support she needs.  Also, I know there are hundreds of people who care about this amazing woman, mom and nana but please know that with this news will come hard times and she needs her privacy through this journey.
