Prayers for Elijah

My world was turned upside down May 23. I took my nine-year-old son to the ER for muscle spasms (that is what we had been told for a year). He was in excruciating pain, and a knot had formed on the back of his neck the night before. We found out May 23rd that it wasn't, in fact, a muscle spasm but something much worse...cancer. I can tell you that was the worst moment of my life. We finalize our game plan with our oncologist tomorrow, but she has confirmed that he will have radiation five days a week and chemo seven days a week. We are hoping to start Monday so that we can start to try and remove it but especially kill it. After month of this, he will then need reconstructive surgery that will be very involved. Please pray for Elijah...that he continues to fight with all of his might. We have a long road ahead of us! Thank you so much!
