Love for Lexi

Dearest family and friends near and far, many have shared in our families grief over the tragic loss of our Lexi. Alexis Janese Etheridge, Her short 23 years of life was tragically taken in the early morning of January 20th. This has been the hardest 48 hours for all of Lexi's family trying to process the loss and understanding the how and the why has proven to too painful so we have chosen to put our hope and faith in Jesus our Lord and Savior. For those who do not know me I am Lexi's aunt, On behalf of the entire family we want to thank everyone who has called, texted, sent messages through Facebook or posted a photo or mememory of our beloved Lexi. Thank you also to all our friends and family who have shopped, cooked and brought over meals to feed our family and for everyone who is praying for us we want you to know we feel the prayers please keep them coming. My heart hurts for my brother and sister who have to plan to bury their daughter, I have always heard this saying children bury their parents, but no parent should have to bury their child. Many have asked how can they help so in response to the outpouring of love right now the best way to help is continue to pray and if God puts it on your heart to give a love offering to help Lexi's parents by sharing this heavy burden then thank you!

Arrangements are currently being made to celebrate "Lexi's" life and as soon as the final plans are made we will post on Facebook the date and time.

My hope for all who read this is know it is not easy to ask for help but under these circumstances I would not want to take a blessing from anyone who wants to bless the family and help carry their burden.
