Calling all friends and family of Phil Nolan!
As you've probably heard, Phil was in a very bad mountain biking accident that has unfortunately left him without the use of his legs. It's certainly a tragic occurrence that will alter Phil’s lifestyle indefinitely, but despite the severity of the injury, Phil's spirits will not be dampened. He continues to have a positive attitude and refuses to be beaten (when I first called him after the accident, his first words to me were "I'll still kick your ass in racquetball").
He's always been one of the strongest people I know; he’s a devoted son and sibling, and the best friend I've ever had. I know I speak for all of his numerous friends and family when I say that he deserves the best equipment money can buy so that he may continue living the life of passion, duty, and kindness that we all know him for so well. He’s always been there for me when I needed him, and now he needs us. So, I am calling on all of his friends and family to pitch in whatever they can towards helping Phil transition to his new lifestyle. All donations will go directly to the construction and architecture expenses for remodeling Phil's home so that he can be as comfortable and well-equipped as possible.
Our goal is to help design a home set-up for Phil that will drastically increase his ease of mobility and functionality around the house, and to help him be as mobile and self-dependent as possible. Please help us make this happen! Anything you can afford to give will put us one step closer to giving Phil the set-up he deserves.
