A Black Woman in Need

Hi, my name is Kailyn. As much as I'd like to pretend that I will be able to do this on my own, I understand that asking for help is sometimes needed. I am a Black woman who has goals of writing poetry, inspiring other Black people to live out their dreams as well and believe that with the assistance of privileged, financially stable individuals that I can make this happen. 9 years ago when I had to make an uncomfortable decision about my future, I was scammed online and ended up having to owe my former college's credit union over two thousand dollars. I did not have the chance to finish school at UNO and had to get a few jobs in the service industry to pay for rent, bills, and now this debt on top of my student loans.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to pay any of it off and am in need of assistance to get this behind me. The credit union has not been helpful or understanding of my situation at all and I need to pay this off so, that I can move forward with a more stable foundation. They recently sent me an updated notice of the interest on this debt. There is no way I can afford this now.
