Hi Everyone!
As some of you know, James and I brought home the most beautiful Golden Retriever puppy, Darcy, last Thursday. We brought her home from a loving breeder in Massachusets, and she has been loving her new life with us.
In the last 7 days, she has brought us more happiness, laughs, and cuteness than we could have ever imagined. We have felt so lucky and blessed.
Over the last few days, Darcy has developed symptoms similiar to a terrible stomach bug. After over 24 hours of this, it was time to bring her to the Emergency Room. Darcy was just too uncomfortable and sick at this point.
It has been nothing but a non-stop mess since. Darcy has been in the ICU since last night. It was suspected that there was some type of obstruction on her intestines, so James and I decide to get whatever tests done possible to make sure she was okay.
We found out this morning that Darcy's blood pressure had dropped and she was in critical condition, at only 9 weeks old.
After 2 x-rays, 2 sonograms and a series of bloodwork tests later, it has been concluded thay our little Darcy is fighting a serious infection. She has been givien intense antibiotics and will remain hospitalized for the next few days.
As many of you know, James is starting Law School in the Fall and I am about to graduate myself.
Our current medical bill is at an estimated $3,000. This clearly is alot considering our circumstances. We love our puppy more than you could ever imagine already, and want her better ASAP.
Please help us support Darcy and regaining her health back. Any penny would help.
