<div>Over the past year and a half, our dad has faced an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking medical journey. At the end of 2023, he underwent a major surgery for a quadruple bypass after a series of hospitalizations. Just when we thought he was on the path to recovery, our world was shaken again in June 2024 when he was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer.

<div>He immediately began chemotherapy and fought courageously for the remainder of the year. In January 2025, he had his stomach removed in an attempt to stop the cancer from progressing. While he showed signs of recovery at first, he began experiencing severe pain and was recently hospitalized again. We’ve now learned that the cancer has spread to his esophagus, making it extremely painful and difficult for him to eat and drink and is now affecting his other organs.

<div>Our dad is now in hospice care, focusing on comfort in his final days. His only wish is that our family doesn’t carry the heavy financial burden of his long medical battle. Between surgeries, chemotherapy, hospital stays, medications, and now hospice care, the expenses have been overwhelming.
