To our dear friends and family:
If you knew Papa well, you knew how much he loved spending time with family, working on outdoor projects, tending his gardens, and ending each day with a glass of red wine. Over the past 15 years, there has been one place where he has been able to do everything he loved: his home in Hague, Virginia. Armed with little more than a cold beer, he spent endless hours there working on projects such as designing his shady garden, planting fruit trees, and building an outdoor tiki bar and grill out of sand stones. He dreamed of a place his family and friends could share, and where they could come to make memories. Sadly, with his passing, he will not have the opportunity to finish his many projects or see his dream realized. And so, in his honor, all donations received will go to completing Papa’s Place, where we will build a fountain, plant flowers, and ensure that the getaway he envisioned can be enjoyed for generations to come.
