During September 2022, while on a video call with her mom and dad, my wife watched as her dad fell to the ground and minutes later breathed his last breath. On 19 May 2025, after more than 5 weeks in ICU, my wife was next to her moms bed as she breathed her last breath. Seeing a Parent leave this world is terrible and we are never prepared for the pain and emptiness that follows.
