Houston went to the vet and his blood work is pointing to cancer. We have been referred to a specialist to do further diagnostics to know exactly how far this has spread and what treatment options are available. It is no secret that vet expenses are expensive, and no insurance will take him because of his age, and this will be considered pre-existing. We are desperately trying to raise funds for his diagnostic tests and treatments. This first goal will be going to diagnostics, and hopefully, we get enough for his surgery, which will be around another $8,000-$10,000, but I want to take baby steps. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Any remaining funds left after diagnostics and treatment will go directly to the rescue that we adopted Houston from, Troopers Treasures.
