John Parlett's Lymphoma Support Fund

Hey there,

As some of you may know, my dad John was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Due to his condition, he's also struggling with other medical issues. Getting around and doing simple tasks is becoming increasingly difficult for him.

He currently lives in Boston Bar, B.C. and will be receiving treatments in Abbotsford, B.C., which is a two-hour drive each way. My brother Shane will be driving my dad to and from the hospital; as we know, the gas price is quite high. My dad is not a man of means; his only source of income is the Canadian Pension Plan. I'm asking for help to pay for transportation to and from the hospital where he will get his treatment. Above and beyond would help pay for meal replacements (as he's currently unable to keep solid foods down) and any comforts that might help him during treatment.

We're all hoping for the best possible outcome for my dad, and I think it would significantly boost his spirits right now to know that people are willing to help.
