We have been striving to live and share the Gospels in the Curtis Park Neighborhood downtown which is known as the oldest neighborhood in Denver. The response has been tremendous and we will be sharing stories here and on our Facebook page.

This is a self funded ministry and if you would like to help we have several upcoming events and initiatives.
Vacation Bible School - Creation Theme July 14 - 16, Mon - Thursday from 6-8:30 and a Watermelon/Ice Cream Social July 19, Sabbath from 3-6. We are excited to share the Creation story with the children in the park and are planning to have dinner, Bible story and singing along with games and crafts. On Sabbath we will invite the parents for watermelon and ice cream and a final day of VBS. We could use $500 for food, crafts, Bibles and prizes.
Christian Concert in the Park - August 9. More details to follow. If you are interested in helping or playing at the concert, contact Dave Nicodemus.
Backpacks for the Homeless and for School Kids - Dave Nicodemus has started a campaign to collect backpacks for the homeless and we would also like to provide some back-to-school backpacks for kids filled with school supplies.
Sabbath Ministry - Literature, Kid's program and Food. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday we are at the park from 3-6 sharing lunch, snacks and bottled water and worship with everyone in the park. We also have literature available which has been disappearing quickly! We were initally surprised by the many requests for Bibles and some people gave away their personal Bibles.
Last week, Raina Swayze (Miss Raina to the kids) had the privilege of giving a little girl her very first Bible. Her grandmother told us she has been wanting one for a long time. We have a kid's tent set up with Bible crafts, stories, games and puzzles. Many of the kids do not know basic Bible stories so our goal is to introduce them to some simple stories.
We would love your prayers as we strive follow God's plans and reach the people He would like to have us reach. We would also love to have you worship with us in the park.
