A Benefit For Charlie Mafi

On Wednesday June 25th we're gathering family and friends to help support our good friend Sean Mafi and his dog son, Charlie.
Charlie has been diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertrebral Disc Disease) and is virtually paralyzed from the waist down. This is common condition for Dachshund's, but the treatments and surgery are very expensive. Charlie is also currently on strict activity restriction for 6-8 weeks, on heavy antibiotics and painkillers and has to be kenneled 23 and 1/2 hours a day, except when he is carried out to go potty. As sad as this situation currently is, there is indeed hope for Charlie and we're asking that everyone come out to support our furry little friend and his parents, Sean and Lili.
If we all chip in with our wallets and our hearts the prognosis for recovery is bright. We'll have a handful of silent auction items up for bidding, as well as contributions from various venues, artists, performers and more. We're going to make this night a big celebration to lift some spirits and ease the financial burden for two very hard working people and one sweet little pup! Please join us for this special night of drinks and dancing and help Charlie get the treatment that he needs and deserves! We truly appreciate your support!
