Hi my name is Garrett Putnam. I am 24 years old and I was involved in a car crash in February of 2013 and I was left paralyzed from the neck down. I was rear-ended by a drunk driver that was traveling at a high rate of speed. My family, my friends, and myself have been affected by this in so many ways. The individual that caused the crash did not have adequate insurance and that has made it very difficult to pay all of my medical expenses and also try to purchase the equipment that I will need in order to exercise and get stronger each day so that I may get my life back one day! Pictured below is an exercise bike that would benefit my rehabilitation greatly! It would not only make me stronger but it also improves my overall health. This piece of equipment costs $22,000.00 by itself. The emotional devastation coupled with the financial burden is just as crippling as my physical injuries.
