Hi guys,
As most of you know, my family and I suffered the unimaginable loss of our Mom, Grandma, Sister, Significant other, Niece, Cousin, Friend, Victoria, last year. I have been blessed with a couple of women in my life who even before the loss of my Mom but especially since the loss of my Mom have blessed me in many ways. One of them is my BFF's mom, Pattie Swango. I have known this amazing and strong woman since the age of 16. She saw me through my rebellious teen years, my years as a newly married woman, the amazing birth of our beautiful daughter and lots of other good, bad, happy, and sad times. She's been there through a lot. She was also a major influence in my sister's life through the loss of her precious child, my precious niece. Pattie had also lost a child and going through this loss, my sister found comfort in talking to Pattie; someone who had been through it and really, really understood this great and sorrowful loss.
The reason I am writing this today is Pattie was recently diagnosed with Peritoneal cancer, a devastating diagnosis. She is the mother of 3 AMAZING children and the grandmother to 5 AMAZING babies whom she adores. She's still needed here!!! She has begun chemo but as many of you know who have been touched by this hateful disease called CANCER, it's devastating in many, many ways, most of which are financial. Between the co-pays, medications, and just getting her from her home to the chemo center with an unreliable car, it's very hard. I don't want them to have to worry about this. I want Pattie and her family to be able to concentrate on her getting better!!! I know it's the Holiday season but I know my friends and family have a beautiful and giving heart and what better time to give than Christmas time?! Anything helps and will relieve them of this current burden. Please pray for my "adopted" family!!! That's what they need the very most!!! Thank u all so much!!! It's appreciated more than you know!!! ❤❤❤
