US Junior National Crew Camp

Hello! My name is Ally Eggleton and I am 14 years old. This spring I began the sport of crew and absolutely fell in love with rowing. Coming in as a novice freshman to the sport, I wasn't expecting anything amazing but once I got on an erg and in a boat, some amazing things happened. I made my school's Varsity Girls First Four boat as a starboard in 3 seat and broke my school 2k record with a time of 7:37.7. This summer, I am one of 30-40 girls who has been invited to train at a 3 week US Junior National Rowing camp, an amazing and rare opportunity. Unfortunately, the camp is too expensive for my family to afford at the moment. If I am liked and show enough potential at this camp, they may invite me back to the US Junior National Selection Camp where they would further observe me and possibly invite me to represent the United States as a member of the US Junior National Rowing Team who competes at prestigious regattas including Worlds. This is an extraordinary opportunity I cannot pass up and have only a limited amount of time to be invited to because I am coming up on reaching the age limit. The camp also begins June 19th so I have a very limited amount of time to raise money. Any and all help is tremendously appreciated.
