Fire destroyed EVERYTHING
Donation protected
Today is Christmas Eve, a day to spend with family and loved ones in your homes filled with beautiful memories and things.
Today we got the news that something absolutely tragic happened. A storage unit filled with decades of memories, and ALL of my Mothers belongings was completely diminished in a fire. Things we take for granted on a daily basis, someone extremely important to me is now without.
My mother is an avid art collector, and collector of beautiful antique furniture. She was in the process of moving, so EVERY little tiny thing was in this unit. Baby pictures, my baby clothes and dolls, every school project I have ever done in my life, things my mom has toted around for decades and I made fun of her for it are gone.. and now I know the hurt of her losing these precious things. Appliances, her daily clothes, books, all the way down to basic daily necessities gone. These small daily things add up to replace.
I come to you friends, asking for even a small donation to help a woman in need out. This is a woman who has silently helped so many in need. A woman who's profession is a care giver, she takes care of the elderly people that can't take care of themselves. She is a strong woman who wouldn't ask for anything. Someone who has silently suffered from an auto immune disease that has taken so much from her already.
Today I am comfortable shedding light on that. She is someone who would never ask for help.
As her daughter, I am proud to be the person to ask for your generosity.
THINGS can be replaced, memories we can lock away in our hearts and minds. Tragedy and hurt happens and we can over come it. But when it happens it hurts, and we need love and prayers to get through this hard day.
We are blessed that everyone is safe, this didn't happen in a house. We have our love and faith.
But this is still hard news to hear the day before Christmas.
Please keep my Momma in your thoughts and prayers as this is all sorted out. ❤️
