Share the Warmth

Hi, My name is Nichole, and I'm the owner of a local auto repair shop, the Subie Guys! Last year, one of our team members' spouse, a social worker for a local elementary school, expressed a dire local need for warm outdoor clothing for school-aged children. On their own, she and a co-worker purchased coats and boots for kids when they needed them, but there was still more need.

The overwhelming need and the generosity of those ladies touched my heart and others in our community. In three days, a fundraiser was started that gathered items for over 70 kids!

This year, we started reaching out to other schools and talking to individuals who have direct contact and know the immediate needs of the kids in their schools. We quickly realized that every school we spoke with faced similar circumstances.
