I am Beautiful!
This is a phrase that is hard to say for many women let alone those that are dealing with a terminal illness like Cancer. The big "C" word tends to take all the beauty out of whatever it touches but we are going to change that.
My name is Susie Dobbs and I have partnered with the American Cancer Society to provide free wigs to anyone that has lost their hair or is going to lose their hair because of Cancer or any other terminal illness. BUT... We are not stopping there! We are expanding our program to include classes on applying make up and how to dress for your body type. Cancer takes many things away and we are going to show each and every person that comes in our door that no matter what they are BEAUTIFUL.
You are BEAUTIFUL no matter what!
We are seeking donations to cover expenses like rent, cosmetic purchases for personal kits that each person will take home after their class, as well as literature and booklets that will include everything they need to know to let their radiance shine. We are also seeking donations of wigs and cosmetics from manufacturers. We have set this budget for 2020 but we hope to raise even more to keep us going strong for years to come. Please share this with your friends and if you know anyone in the wig or cosmetic industry that would like to be our partner please let us know.
We have already started our free wig program. I have personally funded this beginning phase but we are growing so fast that I can not fund this project alone anymore. (which is a great thing)
