<div>On Friday, May 16, Frankie was riding his bicycle home from school when his brakes failed. He was unable to stop in time and collided with a school bus in the intersection. <strong>Due to the severity of his injuries, he was taken immediately to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.</strong>

<div>Frankie suffered a skull fracture, orbital fracture, a deep facial laceration with nerve damage, a broken arm, an injured leg, and has a brain bleed. He has a long journey to recovery that will involve hospitalization, surgeries, and physical therapy.
