This is my Daisy Mae. She just turned 5 years old on 9/11/2025. Just recently she started having issues with her hind quarters. She just started collapsing and crying out in pain. She has had three visits to the vet with the last one getting X rays under sedation. She then was referred to the surgeon where she had her appointment on 9/12/2025. Daisy Mae has been diagnosed with what is called bilateral cranial cruciate ligament ruptures, and she will be needing surgery on both of her knees. Daisy is just the sweetest girl and it's heart breaking to see her in so much pain. She is currently prescribed 100mg Carprofen twice daily, Gabapentin 300mg twice daily, Tramadol 1 1/2 50mg every 8 to 12 hrs and Methocarbamol 1 1/4 every 8 to 12hrs. In the process of getting a support harness to help her walk. She is a doctor prescribed comfort dog. Please consider helping out, even the smallest of donations mean so much.
