No Poverty in Our Future

Hello Friends and Family!
Anya’s 6th grade Social Studies class is undertaking a Service Learning Project called, 17 Sustainable Goals for our future. Anya has chosen No Poverty in our Future for her project and her goal is to raise money for the “Heart of Help Elementary School” located in a little village called Shimo la Tewa, in Kenya Africa.
The Heart of Help School is a nonprofit free school for many orphaned and fatherless children. The school currently teaches 123 students and after 6 years of being taught under a tent the school finally raised the funds in 2017 to purchase land and built an indoor school! While the school continues to expand their education, space in their village is limited.
Anya chose this school because her nanny, Tanya spent 3 years working with these children in their village. Tanya knows firsthand how much help this village needs and has shared her experiences and photos with Anya. It only made sense for Anya to choose this amazing organization and is why she is asking for your support!
Anya has started a Go Fund Me page to raise money and all donations will be sent to www.okafrica.org in care of “heart of help school” to continue their Education program for these underprivileged children.
Adam Leland Homes, Inc. has agreed to match all donations.
