Help Us Save the Villa Grebovka!
Time and weather are taking their toll on our beloved and historic Villa Grebovka, the home of the CEELI Institute, and one of Prague’s great architectural treasures. Last winter was hard, and left us with extensive exterior damage to our façade, corniche, and balconies, with chunks of masonry cracking and falling to the ground. The repair work will be extensive and is beyond our budget.
We are calling for support from our many friends and colleagues, who have shared great times and memories from their stays here, as well from those who love Prague and wish to preserve its splendor. The Villa is a unique and treasured part of Prague’s history, and serves as an important gathering place for human rights defenders, lawyers, judges, and journalists from across Europe and the globe. Your support will allow us to preserve the Villa and fulfill our mission.
