Third times a charm

Many of you know about Britany’s battle with cancer. For those whom may not know, here’s a shortened detailed vision of her life as of right now. Britany was first diagnosed in March 2016, head and neck Stage IV adenoid cystic carcinoma. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor in her gland and then 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. The surgery was more extensive than previously thought by her Oncology team, leaving her with paralysis on half of her face. Things were looking up and Britany was cancer free only until 2017. The cancer had spread to her sinus cavity. She had to gather her strength and return for another 6 weeks of radiation. In late 2017, Britany began to have chest pains and extreme bouts of coughing. January 2018, she found out the cancer had returned and spread to her lungs and lymph nodes. She is currently a patient at the Cancer Center of America located in GA. This will be here third battle against cancer!

These past two years have been extremely trying for Brittany and her family. They are physically, mentally, emotionally and financially drained. She is covered through insurance from her employer of 5 years, but deductibles and out of pocket expenses are beginning to eat up Britany and her family’s savings. Britany has shown strength that most of us can only pray to have and hope we never need. Britany’s faith in God is strong and she knows that He will heal her.
