My daughter is 48 years old and had seemed to be very healthy until one evening in April when she was working. She is a nurse and does in home care for a young child.she became short of breath and felt very I'll. She went to E.R.and was told she had pneumonia. She took her antibiotics and returned to work a week later. It hit again with a vengeance. Back to ER.She couldn't say more than 2 words at a time she was so short of breath. This visit to the hospital resulted in CAT SCANS MRIs Pet Scans and a diagnosis consisting of Stage 4 lung cancer and bone cancer. Our whole world turned upside down. Her 4 children were in shock.she is in shock and I her mother wish I could trade places with her. She is starting Radiation tomorrow June 3rd.Then will begin the process of Chemo. As of now she has no income what so ever. 3of her children no longer live in her home but she has a 14 year old son from a previous marriage. She has always helped others and has a very hard time asking for help from anyone. Like I said she has no Income and no life insurance. She has to leave her home and get a small apartment she can afford and live out her life with her son.Anything any one could do to join Team Julie/our Jewel would be so appreciated.
