Bring Sugar Home

Our friends found a Pitbull on the streets of Mexico. He had been hit by a car and left for dead. His back leg had been broken and set straight, so he spent his time on the street dragging his back leg or hardly walking at all. Our friends took him home and had him seen by a Veterinarian, where they were told Sugar would be  healthy enough for an operation to reset his leg and will recover full function of it. He first just needs to be fed and "fattened up".
When we arrived he was returning to good health and in a couple of weeks would be ready to have his operation. He was named "Sugar" as he is the sweetest little Pitbull. All of us being dog lovers started to think about a furever home for him, and my Husband asked someone who would be perfect, they would make a great pair. He (Lawrence) said he wasn't looking for a dog, but once we told him Sugars story he said yes instantly. We hadn't even sent a picture yet! Which now brings me to writing you. We need your help after countless days of being on the phone and various websites, and still not getting a proper answer. We are left frustrated and still trying desperately to get poor Sugar out of Mexico. The Airline wants to charge us a crazy amount just to fly him, and because he is a Pitbull he also needs a reinforced kennel. Any donations to bring Sugar home would be greatly appreciated.
