Australian Bushfire Donations

100% of the money raised here will go to the Australian Red Cross, RSPCA Bushfire Appeal and the NSW Rural Fire Service.
I've seen bushfires in my home state of Tasmania and they were terrifying and nowhere near the scale of the current fires. I can't really comprehend the scale of the devastation to people, animals and livelihoods and people affected are going to need support.
From all donors to this page - I will pick 3 people who donated (over $10) to each win an hour skype/zoom lesson with me. I'll pick them in about a month, so early February and I'll think up a fun/fair way to do it!
On top of this money raised I will buy 10 acoustic guitars to donate to families of people affected by the fires - so if you know someone who lost an instrument or that would find learning guitar a comfort - please let me know in the comments with your donation (or get in touch by email via my website) and let me know some back story and how I might contact them or find out more. If I struggle to find appropriate people directly affected by the fire, I will donate them to volunteers helping the Rural Fire Services.
