Hurricane Michael Relief

Hi, my name is Heather Walsh. I currently reside in San Diego but all of my family lives in Panama City. Instead of being helpless all the way across the country this is my way of offering relief to my loved ones. Hurricane Michael has turned my hometown, Panama City, into an unrecognizable complete disaster area.  I am SICK over the photos I am seeing. Thank God my family has had power restored and are beginning to get basic needs met because of everyone’s hard work. The cost of the repairs will be daunting to say the least.
I have several family members and friends who have lost homes, cars and hope. This is my effort to feel less helpless! My brother, who just finished his service in the Air Force, has a team who is bringing help ie chainsaws, tarps, ice, roofing needs, burner phones that actually have service, gas for generators, etc. they will be making daily trips.
These people have lost houses and are in a terrible state, jobs are not going to be available for months. Anything is appreciated. Right now I am getting help to my family, supplies to help rebuild their life as best they can. I am sending this money via Venmo and wires to my parents, brother and volunteers I know who are in the middle of this disaster. Thank You Friends and God Bless.
