Hello, Fashionistas!

My name is Jenna Anderson, and I am asking for your help in achieving my dream: attending the Parsons New School for Design Summer Intensive 2015. I will have enough saved for transportation (flight, subway, taxi) by then, but the cost of registration is approximately $5400, and must be paid in full at the time of application. I am hoping you can help me get there!

I have a serious passion for fashion that got kickstarted at Canada College, a junior college in Redwood City, California. I have been on the Dean's List since 2012 and am a Fashion Department Scholarship Recipient for the 2014 year. It's been an incredible journey, and I am so grateful for my experience there!

I specialize in tutumaking. One could say that I have an obsession with tulle (hint: look at the first picture ;) ). My Tangled Tutu, based on the Disney movie about Rapunzel, won Judges Favorite at the Alameda County Fair this year!

I crave the intensity of the Parsons program, and to be surrounded by individuals who are as driven as I am. It's said that if you can get through the summer, you can handle the year-round program, meaning that this is an incredible opportunity to get a taste of what happens regularly at Parson NYC.

Your financial support will help me cover two expenses:

1) Program tuition ($3,364)
2) Room and board($1,980)

I work 20 hours a week right now at a start-up company in SF, and make some funds that way. But the concreteness of paying everything at once is a huge setback for me.
