It is with great sadness to inform everyone that on the late evening of June 1st, Constance Gaye Atnip was pronounced dead in her apartment. The medical examiners believe the cause of death was due to emphazima, this was very unexpected by us all. Connie was not only a caring mother but a great friend to many, and has given all of us fond memories.
Unfortunately, she didn't have any life insurance policies or will made out to cover the cost of the funeral and other services. Both myself and Danielle would love to give our mother a proper funeral but we are short on funds to properly do so. If you could find it in your hearts to donate it would be very much apprechieted as we would like to give her a proper memorial.
Our Mother always wanted to be cremated and have her ashes spread on one of Michigans great lakes. We intend on doing this and also hold a get together with family, friends, and anyone else who would like to say their goodbyes. Once we know how much we can afford to spend we will plan the events accordingly and notify everyone of where the memorial will take place.
