Women's STEM Expedition to Malawi

£341 of £500 goal

Raised by 15 people in 8 months
In May 2019 I will be joining a team of volunteers on a two week expedition to Malawi to build a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) classroom for Rainbow Hope Secondary School. We will be involved in the design of the classroom block, as well as the hands-on construction work. We will also be working with the local young people, delivering workshops to help them develop invaluable skills and open up opportunities for a career in STEM.

This fundraising page will be used to help with the expedition fees, with an additional ~£2500 for flights, visa and insurance being funded by myself. If you'd like more information on Rainbow Hope Secondary School or to donate to the team fundraising page, please follow these links:

Any amount you can give will be very much appreciated, and will help to create a sustainable future for children living in one of the least developed areas in the world.
