I was accepted to SITI Company's 2nd Conservatory class!
SITI stands for Saratoga International Theatre Institute, and operates under the artistic leadership of Ann Bogart and a company of brilliant theater makers.
I have been offered a spot in their second conservatory class based on the articulation of my creative ideas, and my needs for focus and grounding as an actor. It's also fueled by my ABSOLUTE need to create in this current state of maturation almost demanding me to do so.
The program is 26 weeks, 5 days a week, 10am - 5pm plus outside rehearsal, and culminates in a showcase of a devised work created by the class, in May in NYC.
The tuition total comes to: $14,250
- $1,250 non-refundable deposit, already paid.
- $4,000 Financial Aid Internship award
- $4,000 saved from the 5 jobs and countless odd jobs I'm working this summer to contribute...
They have warned that I may not be able to hold down a job with the commitment they require for the program, so I am also hustling to off-set my living expenses.
SO! together I believe we can raise the $9,000 needed by September 9th to officially enroll me in this program.
If ALL of my Facebook friends donate $5, we will raise more than $5,000 easy peasy!!!! Every little bit helps!!
