Help my mom move

Hi all! My name is Ann and I am hoping to raise money to help my mother move into a retirement home close to me in South Fla.  She has been living in a 1 BR apt with my brother for 3 years. My mom is sleeping on a mattress on the floor of the apartment she is now in. She lost her home 3 years ago and is living on her social security benefits.  She has struggled with her health (open heart surgery last year, diverticulitis, and depression) over the past 10 years. I'd love to have her close to me and my immediate family. I am unable to make it up north to help her or check in on her since my husband and I are teachers and our income is not one that allows us to fly up to see her. I haven't seen my mother in a year. The financial issue for her is that she cannot afford the waiting list, security and community fees needed up front to move into a retirement home.  Otherwise she will be good with the monthly rent with her social security checks.  The wait list fee is $1,000, community fee is $2,700 and 1st months rent is $3,000. This is a lovely retirement home which is all inclusive (doc visits, rides to shops, grocery store, etc as well as 2 meals a day).  I am looking to raise $6,500 by April 30th 2016 to help her with expenses.  It is so important to me that she is close by. She turns 79 this summer and she deserves to be living in a clean home close to those that love her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any donation you can afford! No donation is too small.
